Custom fabrication of plastic microfluidic chips
Compatible Materials: Rigid plastics including PMMA, PC, PP, COC, COP, ABS, PS, PEI, etc.
Maximum Dimensions: Maximum processing area of 900 × 500 mm.
Bonding Processes: Thermal bonding, adhesive bonding, laser welding, ultrasonic welding.
Processing Precision: Tolerance of ±0.02 mm.
Micro-hole Specifications: Minimum hole diameter of 0.2 mm; drilling precision of ±0.03 mm.
Surface Roughness: Ra 3.2.
Minimum Width: 100 μm.
Aspect Ratio (< 0.5 mm width): ≤ 2:1.
Aspect Ratio (≥ 0.5 mm width): ≤ 3:1.
Key Advantages: High rigidity, high transparency, good chemical stability, and resistance to common acids and bases.
Typical Applications: Chemical chips, analytical/detection chips, micro-reactors.
Solvent Restrictions: Strictly avoid introducing or soaking in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, or methanol (causes channel swelling, deformation, or dissolution). Only rapid surface wiping is permitted.
Usage Recommendations: Due to susceptibility to reagent corrosion, internal adsorption, and difficulty in cleaning, long-term repeated use is not recommended. It is best suited as a disposable or short-term consumable chip.
